AtkinsRéalis wins contract to modernize the Saint-Jérôme Hospital

MONTRÉAL – November 17, 2023 – AtkinsRéalis [SNC-Lavalin Group Inc.], a fully integrated professional services and project management company with offices around the world, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a seven-year contract from the Société québécoise des infrastructures (SQI) for the expansion and phase 1 modernization of the Saint-Jérôme Hospital.

AtkinsRéalis is part of the winning consortium whose mandate will include mechanical and electrical engineering services for a pavilion currently estimated at close to 25,000 m², which will house a new surgical suite, a medical device reprocessing unit, a day surgery unit, a minor surgery unit, the pre-admission clinic and surgical priority management department, pathology laboratories, a pharmacy, and a pain clinic. Space will also be added for logistics areas. The project includes expansion of the existing facility to meet the needs of the new pavilion, as well as additional work to accommodate, among other things, the endoscopy unit and its endoscope reprocessing unit.
