SNC-Lavalin presents a renewed EDPM Canada structure to increase delivery and service capabilities

Thursday 01 April 2021

MONTREAL: April 1, 2021 - SNC-Lavalin’s Engineering, Design and Project Management (EDPM) in Canada will move away from a regional structure to a market-centric approach designed to increase collaboration, service and cutting-edge technology-enabled delivery capabilities. EDPM Canada will leverage global network expertise available to clients across the country to enhance value propositions. This new client-facing operating model is effective April 1, 2021 and follows on the recent appointment of Ben Almond, CEO of EDPM Canada.

“This new operating model is about fully aligning our business to focus on our clients’ biggest challenges, simplifying our organization and offering the full spectrum of our services to this market,” said Almond. “We have collaborated with and listened to our clients in shaping this approach and we intend to continue to do so as we build on the success of our Canadian business. With the reshaping of EDPM Canada, we’re playing our part in building a strong, successful, integrated SNC-Lavalin moving towards a better, sustainable world. This is a start of a new chapter in our business. We are excited by these changes and truly believe this will leverage both our local footprint and global expertise to meet clients’ needs in an integrated approach.”

With dedicated Canadian leadership and a renewed client focus, SNC-Lavalin is fully committed to increase service capabilities for clients and other stakeholders.
