The Challenge of Delivery at Giga-Project Scale
Delivering a project of this scale and complexity demanded an exceptional level of coordination. Storytelling had to lead everything, while design responded to a dramatic natural landscape that made this project genuinely unique. Creative and technical teams — spanning architecture, theming, show design, structures, civil, MEP, and specialist consultants — worked alongside ride vendors and the park operator in a constant process of interface coordination, safety planning, and narrative alignment.
The park is organised into six individually themed lands, each with its own story world, scripts, show content, animatronics, and effects — yet designed to read collectively as one coherent destination. Success came from bringing every contributor behind a single creative vision and holding that vision throughout delivery.
Culture Woven Into Every Detail
Adapting a globally recognised brand to its local context required sensitivity and care. Saudi cultural cues were woven subtly into the architecture, materials, and storytelling throughout the park — not as surface decoration, but as a genuine expression of place. Local guests find familiarity and a sense of home; international visitors receive a warm and meaningful glimpse into the character and spirit of the region.
In a project where every detail contributes to the story — right down to a door handle — this cultural thread had to be maintained consistently across construction and into the finished experience.
The Human Reality Behind the Magic
Behind the record-breaking rides and immersive lands is a deeply human story of collaboration. Engineers and geotechnical specialists resolved complex foundation challenges on cliff edges. Creative and technical teams shaped storylines in close dialogue with ride vendors around the world. Dedicated park operations and maintenance teams embedded safety and reliability into the design from the earliest stages.
The experience guests encounter is the result of thousands of small decisions and countless moments of collaboration — a team moving as one, across countries and time zones, with shared drive and purpose.
