Atkins awarded $12 million Texas Department of Transportation IDIQ contract for engineering services

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, USA: Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, was selected as prime consultant under a $12 million, 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide schematic and environmental engineering services for various highway projects located in the US Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) San Antonio District. This contract is within SNCL Engineering Services, the cornerstone of our strategy moving forward to greater growth and profitability.

Under the contract, the company will provide preliminary engineering services for the development of a design schematic and the environmental documents and studies in support of the schematic. The company will also provide public involvement services; permit procurement; data collection analysis; traffic engineering and operations including simulations and 3-D modeling; surveying and mapping; and utility coordination.
