The BIE study was conducted by FirstJob, a data company based in Chile that aims to improve the quality of life for young professionals across 15 countries in the region. More than 1,900 interns at 56 companies were surveyed in Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay and throughout Central America. The study revealed that a well-developed internship program, a company’s image and reputation and the day-to-day working environment were the most important factors when attracting young talent to organizations.
