Pumped Storage: Australia tackles Intermittency

On the receiving end of some of the worst natural disasters in modern history—yet blessed with abundant natural resources and a developed economy—Australia occupies a unique position in the global climate change landscape.

As the country works to maintain the grid resilience of its traditionally coal-fuelled economy, it is also undertaking one of the most ambitious transitions to renewable energy in the developed world.
