Bengaluru: April 21, 2020 – Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, is pleased to announce that its Global Design Centre (GDC) in Bangalore, India has received the Great Place to Work Certification by Great Place to Work® Institute for its remarkable efforts towards building a truly diverse and inclusive people’s culture. This Certification also recognizes GDC as ‘Employer-of-Choice’ in the engineering and design sector, among the most credible companies across all sectors in India.
The Great Place to Work is a highly sought-after certification for companies both in India and globally as it is considered the ‘Gold Standard’ in identifying and recognizing Great Workplace Cultures. Every year, more than 10,000 organizations across 60 countries apply to get Great Place to Work–CertifiedTM. The participating organizations are assessed through two lenses and, on meeting the qualifying criteria on each of them, are Certified as a Great Place to Work for a period of one year. The two lenses are called Trust Index© and Culture Audit©. Atkins’ GDC has been assessed on a range of themes, including feedback from employees and audit on subjects spanning from the leadership and management, learning and career development, sustainability policies to wellbeing, corporate social responsibility and employee engagement initiatives. Leading companies such as Hilton, Paypal, DHL, HP and Ernst & Young were also certified as ‘Great Place to Work’ in India.
