Bengaluru, India: June 05, 2023 – The Global Technology Center (GTC) of Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has been awarded the Great Place to Work® certification by the Great Place to Work® Institute for the third consecutive year in India. With more than 10,000 organizations across 60 countries applying to get Great Place to Work–Certified™, the certification is recognized worldwide by employees and employers alike and is considered the gold standard in identifying and recognizing Great Workplace Cultures.
As part of the Great Place to Work® certification, the GTC was assessed on a range of areas including a trust index analysis and culture audit. This covered surveying employees on their thoughts around respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie at work. Other key areas of assessment included leadership, meaningful values, and demonstrating a deep foundation of trust with all employees across the organization. The GTC has performed particularly well in fairness and equality in employee treatment, physically safe place to work, and excellence in services provided.
“Over the past decade, the GTC has established a strong foundation in India, supporting Atkins’ global delivery model while building local talent and promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture,” said Bharat Gala, Chief Executive Officer, Atkins’ Global Technology Center, India. “Being recognized as a Great Place to Work in India for the third year in a row is a great achievement and testament to our continuous commitment to driving a healthy and nurturing working environment that enables everyone to be their true selves, playing an active role in engineering a better future for our community and its people.”
