OAK RIDGE, Tn.: October 24, 2024 – AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear company with offices around the world, announces that Jeff Kendall has been named the new interim President for AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear, replacing Joe McBrearty. Mr. Kendall joined AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear in 2017 as its General Counsel and has most recently served as acting Chief Operating Officer. Since 2021, Jeff has served as Vice President – Legal, Procurement and Contracts, providing programmatic leadership throughout US Nuclear. His appointment is effective November 4.

While AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear searches for a permanent president, Mr. Kendall will lead AtkinsRéalis’ market growth and support clients’ nuclear operations, including process design engineering, waste management, transportation, disposition and high-level waste technologies.

Prior to AtkinsRéalis, Jeff was recruited and appointed by the Governor of New Mexico to lead all environmental policy and regulatory affairs for the state, including those related to all private and federally regulated facilities. Mr. Kendall graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2012 with a Juris Doctor degree. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Business in 2008 and was a four-year letterwinner in football for the Oregon Ducks.
