AtkinsRéalis strengthens UK public sector position with three Crown Commercial Service framework appointments

Tuesday 31 March 2026

AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear company, has been named on three Crown Commercial Service (CCS) frameworks spanning technology services, digital delivery and management consultancy.

The frameworks include Technology Services 4 and Digital Outcomes and Specialists 7 (DOS7), both awarded in early 2026, together with Management Consultancy Framework Four (MCF4), awarded in late 2025. Being named as a supplier on these frameworks further cements AtkinsRéalis’ position as one of the most consistently recognised suppliers across the UK public sector, having held a place on CCS frameworks continuously since 2010.

The framework appointments reflect AtkinsRéalis' position as a supplier capable of supporting government at every stage and across a breadth of disciplines — from technology and management consultancy to infrastructure planning and digital transformation. The company sits at the intersection of technical engineering and strategic advisory, a rare combination for a single supplier.

Technology Services 4 is the UK public sector’s primary route to market for technology services. AtkinsRéalis has been named on seven of the nine available lots:

  • Lot 1: Technology and Digital Consultancy Services
  • Lot 2: Transition and Service Integration and Management (SIAM)
  • Lot 3: End User Services
  • Lot 3a: End User Services
  • Lot 4a: Infrastructure Management
  • Lot 5: Application and Data Management
  • Lot 5a: Application and Data Management

DOS7 provides public bodies with access to agile digital delivery services. AtkinsRéalis has been appointed on three of the four available lots:

  • Lot 1: Digital Outcomes
  • Lot 3: Digital Specialists
  • Lot 4: User Research Studios and Participants

MCF4 gives public sector clients access to the full spectrum of advisory expertise. AtkinsRéalis has been named on three of the ten available lots:

  • Lot 2: Strategy and Policy
  • Lot 8: Infrastructure
  • Lot 9: Environment and Sustainability

Andy Finch, Managing Director of AtkinsRéalis – Secure Government, UK & Ireland, said: “Being named on these frameworks is a strong indication of the distinctive capabilities we have built across engineering, technology and advisory services. This reflects our integrated range — from strategy and policy to infrastructure and sustainability — which is central to how we support government.

“We have been a reliable CCS supplier for sixteen years and this is the first time we have been appointed to the technology services framework, reflecting our ongoing investment in our technology and digital capabilities. These frameworks expand our ability to bring our expertise into more government programmes and we look forward to working with public sector clients to accelerate transformation and deliver lasting value for people across the UK.”

Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2024/25, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £5.3 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers. From 1 April 2026, CCS will formally change its legal name to the Government Commercial Agency (GCA).
