AtkinsRéalis appointed to key lots on Pagabo’s largest ever infrastructure framework

AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear company, has been appointed to Pagabo’s largest infrastructure procurement framework - strengthening its position as a leading delivery partner for complex rail and aviation infrastructure programmes across the UK.

AtkinsRéalis has been appointed to the rail, aviation and rail systems lots on the four-year National Framework for Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Enabling Works 2026, providing a range of design and build multidisciplinary services.

AtkinsRéalis has won three lots for rail and aviation services on the new Pagabo framework

The £4.29 billion framework supports projects with a value of more than £500,000, and will enable AtkinsRéalis to work with clients on a broad range of projects nationwide including track and platform systems, electrification, signalling, telecommunications, power supply and multi-discipline systems integration.

The aviation lot strengthens AtkinsRéalis' ability to support airport operators and aviation sector clients with the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects.

The framework provides infrastructure operators access to specialist expertise quickly and efficiently through an established procurement vehicle, while creating a vital route to market for the supply chain to deliver improvements to rail and aviation services.

With further devolution expected across England, the framework will enable local and regional transport authorities access to rail systems and aviation expertise through a ready-made procurement model, which will support the efficient delivery of new transport networks.

The award from Pagabo builds on AtkinsRéalis' strong track record in rail and aviation infrastructure, delivering services through major Network Rail frameworks and programmes such as the Southern Renewals and Eastern Renewals frameworks – as well as extensive experience across the UK's leading airports such as Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester, and Dublin Airport in Ireland.

It also recognises AtkinsRéalis' advancements in rail systems delivery through its Advanced Signalling Method (ASM). This approach helps rail clients deliver complex signalling and infrastructure programmes more efficiently, drawing on proven expertise from projects across the UK rail network - supporting better integration, improved reliability and more effective delivery of rail upgrades for passengers and communities.

The new offering will combine the scopes of the National Framework for Civils and Infrastructure and the National Framework for Demolition and Land Preparation, with the framework agreement available for use by sectors including central and local government, NHS, blue light, housing and education.
