AtkinsRéalis Secures Position on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Military Healthcare Contract

Tampa, FL: September 14, 2026 – AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear company with offices around the world, has secured a position on the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s Initial Outfitting and Transition Multiple Award Task Order Contract IV (IO&T MATOC IV). This marks the fourth consecutive generation of the IO&T MATOC program in which AtkinsRéalis has earned a position, making the Company eligible to compete for future task orders supporting U.S. Department of War healthcare facilities.

MATOC IV is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a shared capacity of U.S. $720 million. AtkinsRéalis will have the opportunity to compete for task orders involving IO&T services for new and renovated medical, dental and research facilities. The contract primarily supports the U.S. Defense Health Agency, with potential work at locations in the United States and internationally.

The IO&T program is designed to help ensure that new and renovated healthcare facilities are fully equipped, operationally ready, and prepared for the safe transition of staff and patients. AtkinsRéalis tailors its services to the unique requirements of each task order, delivering scalable turnkey solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle. Capabilities include program and project management, medical equipment planning and procurement, transition and relocation planning, interior design, logistics and warehousing, equipment delivery and installation, testing and commissioning, user training, and final turnover and closeout to support a seamless operational transition.

Previous projects include initial outfitting and transition services for the U.S. Army General Leonard Wood Replacement Hospital in Missouri, the Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital in South Korea, the Weed Army Community Replacement Hospital in California, and the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases replacement laboratory at Fort Detrick, Maryland, as well as other work in Hawaii, Japan and Qatar. AtkinsRéalis was also awarded a $193 million IO&T contract for the Rhine Ordnance Barracks Medical Center construction project in Kaiserslautern, Germany, one of the U.S. Department of War’s largest and most complex healthcare construction projects in Europe.

The MATOC IV contract ordering period is scheduled to begin in August 2026. It includes a three-year base period and two two-year option periods, with the potential for an additional six-month extension.
